1. Different manufacturing methods: the composition of pearlescent paper is the same as that of ordinary whiteboard paper, and a layer of pearlescent particles is coated on the basis of ordinary whiteboard paper; coated paper is made by coating a layer of white paint on the surface of base paper and super calendering  .

 2. The appearance is different: pearlescent paper, with a sparkling pearlescent surface; coated paper, double-sided coating, smooth paper surface, and two kinds of paper surface: glossy surface and cloth pattern.

 3. The main purposes are different: pearl paper is mainly used for high-end picture albums, books, exquisite packaging, packaging boxes, greeting cards, tags, etc.; coated paper is one of the main papers used in printing factories, and is usually used for covers, picture albums, etc.  Coated paper, woven coated paper can make the printed graphics and pictures have a three-dimensional effect, and is mainly used for printing pictorials, advertisements, landscape paintings, exquisite calendars, photographs of people, etc.

 4. The degree of ink absorption is different: pearlescent paper has poor ink absorption performance, while coated paper has good ink absorption and ink absorption performance.

 5. Different printing methods: Pearl paper needs ink printing, and it is recommended to use volatile drying ink; coated paper can be directly output by inkjet printer.
